Candy is a horse who came into Pieter’s stable when she was just 7 years old. Pieter took a gamble on Candy, after Tekila D had an injury, and while she was not the most sporty of horses she had very good scope and a superb technique. Pieter and Candy worked hard together, rising up the levels and representing Belgium multiple times. The highlight of their partnership was winning the Rolex Grand Prix of Calgary which opened up many doors for Pieter’s career.
